Private Treatment Fees for 2017

The following list of fees includes the cost of all pre- and post-treatment records (radiographs, photographs and models), the provision of retainers and their supervision, and finally, the cost of any repairs during active treatment.

Fixed Appliances (‘Train Tracks’)

Removable Appliances (ones you can take out)

  • Functional Appliances – plastic blocks used in more severe cases and in conjunction with fixed appliances. The fee is in addition to that for the fixed appliances.

  • Invisalign i7 – these consist of a series of clear plastic removable aligners. (single arch)

Please note that an additional charge may be payable to your dentist for any dental extractions or restorative work that may be required as part of the treatment plan. (Patients are reminded to continue to see their own dentist for routine check ups during the course of orthodontic treatment).

Methods of payment

Fixed Appliances

There are 2 methods of payment for fixed appliances:

i. Pay the entire fee at the start of treatment – this attracts a 5% discount.

ii. Pay in installments – 20% at the start of treatment, the balance to be paid in 12 equal monthly installments over the next year.

Removable Appliances

There are 2 methods of payment for Invisalign (removable appliances):

i. Pay the entire fee at the start of treatment – this attracts a 5% discount.

ii. Pay 3 installments of £600 then the remaining balance to be paid in 12 equal monthly installments over the next year.
